Question Regarding the Hangouts Dialer
I have the Nexus 5 running 5.1 and I have question about the Hangouts Dialer App. I have been trying to call a land-line number in India via the Hangouts Dialer from USA (have family there) and I keep getting a pop-up saying invite XYZ to Hangouts. Using Hangouts Dialer to make calls within the US has been no problem but when I try India I am unable to. I have funds on my account and my understanding is calls to India are .01 cents per minute. Do I need to have a Google Voice number also? Is there something I am not getting, does the other party need a Hangouts account? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.
