Google Maps making my music volume very loud.
Whenever I use Google Maps for live navigation when driving and also have music playing I have some issues with my music. I am connected to my car via Bluetooth. I have music playing at a comfortable listening level, but as soon as the Google Navigation voice says something the music all of a sudden starts to get louder and louder until the point where the music is clipping like crazy and is incredibly loud. It does not matter what the volume is on my phone. I could have my volume maxed on my phone and have my cars volume down, however the music will still go louder, except in this case it just starts clipping faster.
The only way I have found to fix this is to everytime it does this to hit the volume down button and then volume up button. If I only hit one of them it will rise back up to the loud volume. This is not a practical solution as it isn't really safe when driving, and since it happens EVERY time anything is said by the Google navigation voice it is really annoying on long drives to have to keep hitting the volume rockers.
Anyone have any idea what is wrong? It happens when using any kind of music application whether it be Spotify, or the stock Android music player.
I am using a Nexus 5 running the latest Android 5.1 operating system.
