To unlock, enter recovery password.
Somehow my phone got locked in my pocket. I've never even heard of a preexisting recovery password. After researching, I went to Android Device Manager and tried to lock my phone and give it a new password. A pop up appears on the manager saying my phone is already locked, and the password I entered won't be needed. How can I get into my phone without doing a factory reset?! Please give me hope! Thank you for your help either way.
