have a question in regards to hooking up my alienware 13 laptop to my xbox one.

Hey guys, I just got an xbox one(I know I'm late), and am wondering how to connect my xbox one to my laptop to use it as a video screen. i have the hdmi cable running from my xbox to my laptop, but I can't get it to pop up or anything. Now, based off of the google research that I've done, most laptops only have an hdmi out option and mine has both because alienware laptops do... I don't have a TV currently and would like to play my new xbox please help! thanks! via
