Even with the plethora of tools available to root android for every mobile, people are still dubious about the process thinking that it might brick their phone. Why cant the OEM/AOSP roms have it inbuilt? Porbably inside the Developer Options, which will only surface after the Dev Options is enabled. This ensures that the normal user can't see the option, unless specifically searched for.Also, there can be multiple warnings before actually enabling the SU, and even warranty can be made void if OEM chooses to, in case anyone enables this option.This seems to be a more foolproof way.
