Struggling with app stores
We just got our first 'smart device' ever and I'm struggling with it. It's an Ematic CinemaTab 13.3 tablet. I'm assuming it's probably a low-end device, but money is the #1 factor unfortunately, it was about $150 or $160. It sure looks good, and is big, so I'm happy about that.
It came with Amazon suite of Apps on it, including Appstore. I can't login to the appstore, it always just says 'temporary error. try again later.' Thanks appstore. I just want simple apps like netflix, pandora, etc, and free games. If I try accessing these apps through the installed browser, it says 'this broswer is no longer supported.' and tries directing me to the Google Play Store app, but the link says webpage not available. I had managed to install Google Play through some other link, but it quickly just kept saying "Google Play has stopped working" whenever I tried to open it.
I feel like I'm just spinning in circles at this point. I can't use the pre-installed appstore, nor can I get a different one apparently, and the pre-installed browser seems to suck. What can I do?
