App downloads not working on 5.0.2 G2
I upgraded my T-Mobile G2 to 5.0.2 Tuesday night, and I've encountered a major issue. Starting around 2PM yesterday, I haven't been able to get any apps to download through the Play Store or the Download Manager app. I first noticed a problem when it wouldn't recognize any network connections on Spotify (a problem that lasted until this morning), then when I tried to run my app updates, it would just run the downloading bar forever without actually sying the size of the app or displaying progress. After looking online, I cleared the data and cache from the Play Store, then I uninstalled the updates to it restoring the app to factory, checking after each change for functionality. I then cleared the cache of the Play Services app and disconnected and reconnected my Google account to no avail. Since I woke up this morning my phone has been 'downloading' something called the LGWernickeManager through the Download manager, with no progress at all.
The only step that I can think of from here is a dreaded factory reset. I would prefer not to root my phone, mostly because I don't feel that I'm a big enough nerd to not fuck it up entirely, but I will if it'll fix this problem.
